CELTA

I find the course an amazing experience in my life. The input sessions were full of insightful information presented in an interactive way. Lesson observations (both live and recorded) provided me with an opportunity to see how theory is put into practice in a real-life lesson. During workshops I saw other participants make my mistakes and progress at the same time. These were the precious moments where our theoretical knowledge had to be brought to life. The most valuable thing was that I could understand the rationale of my actions, see how varied my choice is in terms of selection of the following steps. Real lessons showed me that something on my plan and a real lesson can be 2 different things. I valued the choices I have to make. Feedback sessions helped me to analyze whether changes were worth the effort and consolidate the knowledge. Assisted TPs were the time to test how well I learned my lesson from the previous TPs.

The course helped me to appreciate student-oriented approach during teaching where students do most of the talking at lessons. I realized that our tutors employed the same approach teaching us during the entire course. This method and other techniques have proven to be much more effective than what I learnt at the University.

I'm very delighted to have chosen this center for my CELTA training. Firstly, because I loved the team and tutors. Since there were only 6 of us (trainees), we were given so much attention and care, I truly appreciated it. Secondly, I was happy about the format of the course (it was online and part-time~2 months). Being on a CELTA course, you're given lots of practical input information, so you need to process it and then use it in your teaching practices. I guess if it were an intensive (one-month length) training, we would be overwhelmed with the information and the quality of our perception would be definitely worse. The part-time option permitted me to prepare for my TP thoroughly (and all required papers) and to combine it with my main job. All in all, I'm enormously grateful to this center for such a great experience!

During the whole course, tutors were supportive and gave us precious recommendations and constructive feedback! Everything was perfectly organised and logically structured. Input sessions were absolutely absorbing. The course gave me the confidence to teach my learners more beneficially. I will definitely recommend Polyglot to all the colleagues who are going to take the CELTA course.

It has been only 4 weeks but it seems much more. It was really intensive course but I can say that it is worth of every penny.🤩 First of all thank for support that we had from our tutors.🔥❤️ We have learned a lot from our tutors and peers. Our tutors were an amazing inspiration for us. It was great experience. I’m really happy about working with people who are professionals and who inspire and motivate and it motivates you to be better. It definitely made me feel more confident. I’m very excited to use the knowledge and the methods that I have learned here. The CELTA course not only met my expectations but exceeded them. If I had possibility to come here again I would do it with pleasure❤️
